Author, editor and psychometric consultant
I am a psychologist by background, and my consultancy focuses on the design, development and/or evaluation of psychological scales and tests – mainly those measuring personality, cognitive abilities and intelligence. Most clients are in the occupational (i/o) area. Though I am based in London, Ontario, Canada I am pleased to offer my services to clients worldwide. However I do not assess individuals.
I also write award-winning books on individual differences, human intelligence and their assessment, was President of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (2021-2023) and am an editor-in-chief of the journal Personality and Individual Differences. I also offer assistance with the development of learning materials (at university level) for courses in personality, intelligence, psychometric theory and statistics – either for distance-learning, or as lecture content.
